Taxiway E Realignment, Apron Construction, and Drainage Improvements

  • Taxiway E Realignment and Relocation – Phase I of this project will build a new taxiway to connect Taxiway E (#4 pictured below) at a ninety-degree angle to meet current FAA guidelines. Phase II (#3 pictured below) will move the current taxiway to the decommissioned closed runway.

  • The Apron Aircraft Pad Improvement Project (#5 pictured below)- will construct three aircraft pads that support fully loaded C-17 aircraft. The FAA funded this project to ensure that C-17 aircraft can be used to bring supplies and evacuate people due to natural disasters.
